Amarilla's Story

Amarilla is a smart, stocky mare with about 30 rides under saddle. She's green broke but already shows excellent progress and has solid ground manners. She walks, trots, lopes, side passes, stops, backs, ties, picks up her feet, and stands well for the farrier. She's barefoot and current on vaccines, deworming, and trims.

Under saddle, Amarilla rides in either a snaffle or a hackamore. She's been handled with confidence, her trainer rides her bareback, slides off her rump, and even stands on the saddle with full trust.

Her one area needing improvement: she can be hard to catch in a large pasture, though in a stall or paddock she’ll come right up.

Because Amarilla is still green, she is not suited for beginner riders. With an experienced partner to continue her training, she has the potential to become an outstanding horse.
