Bailee's Story

Bailee came to STAHR as a surrender by his elderly owner. His prior owner has had him since he was 1.5 years old. She got him from the SPCA who took in a load of horses from a truck bound for slaughter. His prior owner did a lot of work with him and Bailee picks up his feet, leads, is good for the farrier, trailers, and appears well-trained in all the ground manners. Per the prior owner, he is used to tractors, gunfire, machinery, livestock, etc. He was primarily used as a trail horse.

In working with him, we noted that he is very forward, energetic, and agile so he would be best for an experienced rider.
