Jazz's Story

Jazz is a 10 year old Thoroughbred.

Jazz is a sweet gelding who leads and ties. He is not a farrier's friend though and needs to be sedated for the farrier, or Jazz will plant himself there like a tree.

Pasture and companion horse sound: His hindquarters should be checked by a vet, as very occasionally it looks like his hind legs give out on him a little when he is running in the pasture. That being said, he doesn't have a problem galloping all over the pastures at all and he's a happy fella. We have videos of him just running and bucking all over the place in the pasture. He definitely doesn't have a problem getting around.

With his pasture manners, Jazz was gelded once he came to us as an 8 year old and occasionally can act a little protective of his mare friends. However, he is fine being in a pasture with other geldings and mares, as he's currently in pasture with both.
