Kachina's Story

Kachina is a stocky, unbranded Mustang mare. She is a beautiful frosty pinto color. Kachina is a mustang hailing from the Virginia range in Nevada. Her name means "Spirit dancer". Her parents were rounded up and she was subsequently born in captivity.

Kachina has started her work under saddle. She is very responsive and willing, even though her ears are always pointed back. She has been riding in the open pasture at a walk, trot, and canter. Water doesn't phase her, and she has been going over obstables (cones, over logs, tires, etc). She stays calm and figures out what is being asked of her. She is ready for the next steps in her training journey!

Kachina is up to date on vaccinations and deworming.
