Storms Story

Storm, born March 2018, is a black gelding. He is a Mustang/Arab cross. He was born on a wild horse sanctuary and came to our facility, together with his mother, when he was a tiny foal.

He's halter broke, leads, and ties. He has been ridden walk/trot/canter and he does well, though he has shown a dislike to arena work. Storm has been ridden at a walk/trot/canter in an open field and does better there, but he needs a firm and experienced rider to push him forward and who does not get intimated if he does a crowhop. We'd prefer if he went to a trainer or someone very experienced, bonus if it is experience with mustangs. We are working on his manners with the farrier, but he is progressing.

He's in excellent overall health and is up to date on vaccinations and deworming.

Outside of the round pen, he's a silly personality and will pick up anything and everything. He's a playful boy with a strong personality.
